My mission as the High School Guidance Counselor at Paideia Academies is to inspire, empower, and support every scholar in reaching their fullest potential academically, socially, emotionally, and personally. I am committed to creating a safe, welcoming and positive atmosphere for every student to feel valued, respected, heard and encouraged to believe in themselves.

Through a compassionate approach to education that includes building trust and forming meaningful relationships with families, teachers, and staff, I work to assist scholars in overcoming obstacles, gaining self-confidence, developing resiliency, and finding their own individual strengths and purposes. Based on my past experiences as an educator, counselor, and athletic leader, I am committed to educating young people about the importance of developing key life skills like perseverance, honesty, cooperation, leadership, and persistence.

I want to provide my students with more than just an opportunity to achieve academically and ultimately succeed. I want to help them grow into self-assured, empathetic, accountable adults who make a positive difference in their local community and globally. Every student has a story that should be heard; every student has strengths that should be acknowledged; every student has a future full of potential.
