Kindergarten is a pivotal year for learning to read, communicate, and build early math skills. At Paideia, students learn in a structured classroom environment led by experienced educators who provide consistent, guided instruction and daily practice. Through peer interaction, teacher-supported reading aloud, and clear routines, children gain confidence, independence, and the foundational skills they need to succeed in elementary school.
Students receive structured instruction aligned with Paideia’s elementary learning model, focusing on early literacy, math foundations, and classroom routines that support long-term academic growth.
In Kindergarten at Paideia, children build strong foundations in reading and math through the Into Reading and Into Math programs, where engaging stories, hands-on activities, and real-world problem-solving spark a love of learning. At the same time, we nurture the whole child—mind, body, heart, and spirit—by helping students practice kindness, teamwork, confidence, and curiosity alongside academics. Each day begins with a joyful morning assembly that inspires unity, builds character, and empowers even our youngest scholars to grow, achieve, and lead.
In Kindergarten, we use the Into Reading program to help children fall in love with reading and storytelling. Students build the basics—like letters, sounds, and sight words—while also growing their vocabulary and comprehension skills. Through daily read-alouds, songs, and fun activities, children learn to express themselves as confident readers, writers, and communicators.
Our Into Math program makes learning numbers exciting and hands-on. Kindergarteners explore counting, shapes, patterns, and simple problem-solving in ways that feel like play. With activities, games, and digital tools, children begin to see how math connects to everyday life while building confidence as young mathematicians.
At Paideia, we believe in nurturing the whole child—mind, body, heart, and spirit. In Kindergarten, this means helping children learn how to work with others, build friendships, and develop empathy and self-confidence. Teachers guide students in practicing kindness, problem-solving, and teamwork, so they feel safe, supported, and ready to learn
We prepare young learners with the tools, skills, and confidence needed for a strong start in school.
