Title: 8th Grade ELA Teacher

My mission is to be a caring and strong role model for our scholars. I aim to create a fun and engaging classroom environment where scholars feel safe to make connections, take risks, ask thought-provoking questions, and discover the strengths of their own voices. Through intentional literature, high-level writing, meaningful collaboration, and frequent reflection, I seek to empower students to lead intellectually with kindness and love. I believe that every student can achieve anything when they place faith in their own mind and experiences, while discovering that no obstacle is greater than their determination to succeed.
