Paideia Academies provides a curriculum that allows students to be successful both academically and in life. We help scholars self-actualize their highest potential.
We don’t just offer a course-rich program. We offer the coaching, tools, and skills to promote the sort of mindset that allows for self-mastery. Each portal provides its own unique experience around learning to develop the intellect of scholars.
Online Web Portal
Study Island
Founded in 2000, Study Island, an Edmentum product, helps students in Kindergarten through 12th grade master state-specific, grade-level academic standards in a fun and engaging manner. Study Island combines rigorous content that is highly customized to Arizona state standards in math, reading, writing, science, and social studies with interactive features and games that engage students and reinforce and reward learning achievement. Our online suite of products uses technology to transform education. All of our programs are designed to create a very user-friendly experience for students and teachers.
Scholars have access to Study Island at school during their computer lab time and also at home to practice skills. We have set a goal of 2 hours per week of practice time on Study Island in order to continue growing in Math and Reading at Paideia Academy! Please give your child time to log into this program at home or at the library to work on building his or her skills!

Khan Academy
Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from Kindergarten to Calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We’ve also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.
Khan Academy is our “home study” tutoring and enrichment tool for grades 6 – 8. Each scholar has a login that opens the door of learning and enrichment beyond the classroom. We encourage all scholars in the Junior Academy to spend at least 30 minutes each day practicing math skills in Khan Academy.
Login Instructions
1. Press login at the top of the page.
2. Sign in with your username and password.
3. If you are registered with a Paideia class, ask your teacher for the code and join Paideia for more coaching.
4. Work in Khan Academy at least 30 minutes each day on Mission specific learning objectives.
5. Once you’ve finished the mission specific learning objectives, feel free to study anything else available and enjoy!
Google Classroom
We use Google Classroom for remote learning classroom discussions. This is also where our scholars and teachers collaborate; coursework is assigned, submitted and graded; and class materials and resources can be found.
